The 2026 GMC Yukon XL offers three engine choices, including a 5.3L V8 producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, an available 6.2L V8 producing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, and an available 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel inline-six producing 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. All engines use a 10-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive standard and four-wheel drive available or standard on AT4, AT4 Ultimate, and Denali Ultimate.
